About Us


The Trust is governed by a Board of 15 Directors and a Company Secretary representing a wide range of interests and professions, including anglers, land managers, legal professionals and tourism.

The Trust employees have a range of skills to ensure we can effectively deliver our objectives. Additional field surveyors are employed to help during most summers. Trust staff and Directors sit on various boards and steering groups to assist in delivering our aims and objectives including the Scottish Fisheries Co-ordination Centre, Fisheries Management Scotland and the Salmon Liaison Group.

VACANCY AT GALLOWAY FISHERIES TRUST (FULL TIME PERMANENT POST)

Galloway Fisheries Trust is looking to recruit a new Fisheries Biologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take a lead role in many of the GFT research, monitoring and restoration programmes. This is a full time permanent post.
