There are 107 lots for sale ranging in guide price from £20 up to £3,000. The lots are very varied and include things like whisky, paintings, clay pigeon shooting, stalking, fishing, meals out, furniture, holiday breaks, a cherry picker and operator (for a day), learning how to make sausages, designer hat, ferry crossing, fungi foray and even a pair of white ducks! The donors have been very generous this year.

If you wish to submit a bid for any of the lots please email details to angela@gallowayfisheriestrust.org but be quick as she needs them by noon on Friday!

This event is run to raise funds for three charities; Galloway Fisheries Trust, Marie Curie and Combat Stress.

Completion of the Saving the Sparling Project - phase 1

Smolt sampling on the Bladnoch

GFT are presently sampling smolts caught in a fyke net at the inflow to Torhouse Fish Farm on the lower River Bladnoch. The fyke net also helps provide data on various other fish species within the Bladnoch catchment.
