There are many ways in which you can help us and help your local waters!
Please contact us if you would like to join us for a day helping out – we are always looking for keen volunteers to come and give us a hand in many aspects of our work such as : Japanese Knotweed spraying, looking for Sparling or tree planting.
Joining us on some work days can give you hands on experience of what we do, and it will also help you 'do your bit' for the rivers!
As we are a charitable non-profit organisation, we are always looking to source extra money to help fund practical works and local projects. You can help us continue our important work by providing a donation to the Trust.

For the second year running, a junior angler has secured "Best Fish" at our annual Kirkcowan Angling Competition, which finally got underway on Saturday 27th September
Electrofishing is an effective and safe technique used to catch juvenile fish in freshwater habitats.
A paid internship is available from October 2025 for 6 months to work with Galloway Fisheries Trust on our River Annan Restoration Project.
