Kacie grew up in Creetown before moving to Newton Stewart where she lives now. She graduated in 2018 with a BSc. Hons in Animal Biology from the University of Stirling.
Kacie originally joined GFT as a volunteer in the summer of 2018, assisting weekly on various projects. This included helping with the removal of invasive plant species, collecting data from temperature loggers, and electrofishing. Kacie spends her free time gaming and saves her money to spend on travelling. She was employed in 2019 as maternity cover before taking a break to travel around New Zealand. She returned to the Trust in early 2020 and is presently covering for Rowan while she is off on maternity leave.
