Fisheries Biologist

Mr Dan Pollard

Dan graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2021 with a degree in BSc (Hons) Environmental Science and Sustainability.

During his time at university, he completed a 2-month environmental placement at the trust in early 2020 and then continued to work as a part time field assistant until March 2021. Dan then went on to complete a six month internship at GFT.  In 2022 he was permanently employed as a Fisheries Biologist with his main responsibilities being electrofishing surveys, habitat restoration works, GIS mapping and aquatic invertebrate monitoring.

In his free time Dan enjoys socialising, being outdoors, camping and gaming.
