Over the past week or so, GFT have started to record the growth of this year’s Japanese Knotweed and Giant Hogweed. At the present time, GFT have control contracts out to tender for the control of these invasive non-native plant species on the Galloway Rivers as part of the EU funded CIRB project. For more information on the project and the current control program, please have a look at the CIRB page of our website.
